Lauren turned the big 8 in May. We can hardly believe it. Because this is such a special year for many reasons, we decided to celebrate BIG. Rodman, Lauren and I went to NYC to enjoy and explore. We toured the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. We explored Central Park for the day including the zoo and a puppet show. We had dessert at Serendipity's (I highly recommend). We ate roasted nuts. We saw several Broadway shows including Mary Poppins. We shopped on Canal Street and 5th Avenue. We went to the American Girl Doll store and FAO Schwartz. We even hit free night at the MOMA. Needless to say, we came home exhausted, but with loads of fun memories.Happy Birthday Lauren! We love you!
